Revolutionary Bowie

Revolutionary Bowie is an original 16x20" Acrylic on canvas painting by artist Krissy Whiski. This painting was created for the 2020 We Can Be Heros exhibition, where it hung in the National Liberty Museum in 2020.

Every year I paint a painting of Bowie for Philly Loves Bowie week. The art exhibition on First Friday of January each year, kicks off a series of Bowie-related events throughout the week that help raise money for childhood cancer research at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Being a huge fan of David Bowie, and the fact that this event gives back in such a big way, I seek to participate every year.
